Manfa Music was started in the year 1988, and started producing Audio Albums, as there were hardly any Company in Goa, doing the same than and till date we have produced about 200 Audio Albums from which around 100 are released on Audio C.D.
Manfa Music was the first company to produce Comedy Film and release it on Video C.D. and after good response from the buyers went on to release about 30 Video Films,
But at present have put a stop towards this production as the sales of original V.C.D's is gone drastically down and good business is done by Video libraries & Pirates, if the trend of watching the original starts again we will be back, at present we release V.C.D's of the films which we purchase from others on our other label "Cat Video"
We release old Albums under the label "Manfa Music [Old Series]" so also on Cat Music.
Manfa Music, Margao, has released their 100th music album. A great achievement for a company that has endeavoured to keep the flag of Konkani music flying high in spite of various adversities, especially audio and video piracy.
